Close Toilet When Press Button 'Flush'

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, When you finish a bowel movement, and then menakan the 'flush' (flush) in the toilet closet, remember your position at that time, are you standing or sitting still on it? Research published in the Journal of Hospital Infection states, if you press the 'flush' in an open closet, it's dangerous. The bacterium Clostridium difficile, causes diarrhea, can come up as far as 25 centimeters sprayed onto the toilet seat if you do not close it.
Head of Prevention and Treatment at the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. William Schaffner, said now many people are closing the toilet after use. "But do not close it while pressing the 'flush'," he said, as quoted from Huffingtonpost, Monday (9/1).
Researchers from Leeds General Infirmary check air suspension of these bacteria in public restrooms hospital after use. They also examined surfaces contaminated with the bacteria after flushing. They found the bacteria, when the toilet flushed without closing it, the number increased 12-fold. However, if when pressing the 'flush' and the toilet is closed, it could reduce the number of bacteria present.
In addition to the toilet seat, the bacteria is more likely to spread to parts of the toilet in the other if they did not shut it down while pressing the 'flush'. Experts from the University Arzina bacteria, USA, Dr. Charles Gerba, also found that the toilet paper, towels, and others are also full of bacteria. "The number of 150-fold if not closed on the outside of the toilet," he said.
Based on research conducted by the University of Colorado, this type of bacteria commonly found on the toilet door, soaps, rugs, and even when we've stepped out of the toilet.
