January 29, 2014–This interview is conducted in a different format than usual. Although, it features two guests, they were both recorded at different times. First, we hear from Gregory Smith. Later, Jon Rappoport gives a brief 20 minute commentary.

We'll be discussing topics from American Addict, a film co-written and produced by Gregory. Jon is an Associate Producer. Gregory Smith graduated with a degree in both Chemistry and Biology. He went on to graduate from medical school. He is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. He went on to form Comprehensive Pain Relief Group inc. in 2001.

Smith has published numerous research articles, published over 12 books, hosted 2 radio shows and has appeared as guest on multiple local and national radio and television shows. Returning guest Jon Rappoport, was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and has worked as an investigative reporter for 30 years.

The film American Addict unveils how America has gone from the land of the free to the land of the addicted. America represents 5% of the world's population but consumes 50% of the world's prescription pills and over 80% of the world's prescription narcotics; this is not a coincidence.

We'll discuss the relationships between the FDA, big Pharma, physicians and the media that are in place to ensure that medical problems are treated primarily with pills. We'll talk about the horrific consequences that result from this. Gregory also talks about recovering from addiction and natural, healing alternatives. Later, Jon explains the conspiratorial side of how the medical and pharmaceutical cartel formed and presented drugs as the only solution for illnesses.
